Undergraduates take home top prizes at Midwest Undergraduate Cognitive Science Conference

A *huge* congratulations to undergraduates from the NEURAL Research Lab for their presentations this past week at the 2025 Midwest Undergraduate Cognitive Science Conference, which was held at Indiana University Bloomington this year! Addie Borden & Bella Buehler took home first prize for their poster on gesture use by people with aphasia during a procedural narrative (right hand photo). Delaney Duval, Linnea Anderson & Dilyn Ross were runners up with their work evaluating how narrative language predicts subjective cognitive decline in older adults (in collaboration with Prof Bonnie Nozari) (left hand photo). Congrats, team!
