Society for the Neurobiology of Language conference

Dr. Stark presents her work on the neuroscience of discourse in aphasia, in collaboration with members of the Center for the Study of Aphasia Recovery team (cstar.sc.edu)

Dr. Stark recently attended the Society for the Neurobiology of Language Conference, held in Helsinki, Finland. This is a fantastic conference that draws students, early career scientists and established scientists from the disciplines of linguistics, cognitive science, neuroscience and psychology. It is a welcoming place, where established scientists present posters alongside students and developing scientists, which makes for productive networking experiences as well as fosters scientific growth. We also celebrated the launch of the Society’s new Open Access journal, the Neurobiology of Language, hosted by MIT Press.
